Non-Discrimination in Hiring
The Wisconsin Heights School District is an equal opportunity employer. Personnel hiring and administration in the District are conducted so as not to discriminate against applicant or employee on the basis of age, race, religion, sex or sexual orientation, color, marital or parental status, pregnancy, citizenship, handicap or disability, creed arrest or conviction record, national origin, ancestry, political affiliation, membership in the national guard, state defense force or any other reserve component of the military forces of Wisconsin or the United States, use or non-use of lawful products off school premises during non-working hours, or any other reason prohibited by State or Federal law.
Reasonable accommodations will be made for qualified individuals with a disability or handicap, unless such accommodations would impose an undue hardship to the District. Application forms, hiring practices and personnel administration will be periodically evaluated to identify and eliminate existing stereotypes and biases. Discrimination complaints shall be processed in accordance with established procedure.
Candidates of interest will be contacted to arrange an interview. Due to the large volume of applications received, other applicants won't receive a response from us. We appreciate your understanding in this regard.
The District will obtain and review conviction records and records of pending criminal charges of all persons recommended for employment or renewed employment in the District. Conviction records and records of pending criminal charges will not be used or related to the circumstances of the particular job. Use of information contained in the conviction records of current employees shall be subject to applicable employee collective bargaining agreements.
An employment physical and TB skin test will be required prior to starting employment with the District.
