Our latest snow days have forced us to make additional adjustments to our upcoming schedule to meet our Department of Public Instruction (DPI) requirements for hours of instruction.
Here is the plan for making up the time to meet these requirements:
1. Thursday, April 18th will be a Full Day of school for all students. (Previously was a half day)
2. Wednesday, May 15th will be a Full Day of school for all students. (Previously was a half day)
We had already planned on the change below.
1. All district students will have a Full Day of school on Friday, March 1st. Principals and teachers will work together with families to reschedule parent/teacher conferences that were scheduled for that morning.
These changes allow us to meet our DPI requirements for hours of instruction with the least amount of disruption. If we are forced to cancel school again this winter/spring, we will make adjustments as needed to make up additional time.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact our district administrator – Mr. Jordan Sinz at 608-767-2595.
