Introduction

Hello, my name is Barb Foster. I earned my teaching license from UW-Madison and have over 32 years of experience.

I live in the beautiful city of Madison, Wisconsin; home of the state's capitol.

My favorite hobbies include spending time with my family, reading, and traveling.

Courses

All of the second grade classrooms use the following curriculum:

Math

Bridges in Mathematics is a K-5 curriculum that aligns to the Wisconsin State Standards. The program focuses on developing students' understanding of mathematical concepts. The program uses Problems and Investigations, Work Places, and Number Corner.

Reading/Language Arts

Benchmark Advance is a K-5 comprehensive literacy program that is aligned to Wisconsin State Standards. Each unit integrates reading, writing, phonics, constructive conversations, and word study skills. 

Science

Social Studies
