Kelly Kroon
Introduction
My name is Kelly Kroon and I'm the district reading specialist. My job is to work with students who are struggling in reading and to oversee the literacy program in our district.
I earned my Reading Specialist and Reading Teacher certifications from Viterbo University. I have a Master's Degree in Education from UW-LaCrosse. My teaching degree is from UW-Superior, where I majored in elementary education and minored in early childhood education. I also have a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism from UW-Madison.
I'm a proud WHHS grad and am happy to be working for the district that gave me such a good education.
My Classroom
In my classroom, I work with small groups of students, based on student needs.
Teaching Style
I have high expectations for all of my students. I vary my instruction based on what will help each of my students succeed.
