Introduction
Hello! I am the elementary school counselor here at Wisconsin Heights. This is my eighth year in elementary school counseling, and prior to becoming a school counselor, I was a classroom teacher for ten years. I have three young sons and enjoy spending time outdoors when I am not at work. I also enjoy listening to music and podcasts.
Role of a School Counselor
School counselors help all students:
Apply academic achievement strategies
Manage emotions and apply interpersonal skills
Plan for postsecondary options (higher education, military, work force)
