Kris Hopper
Introduction
Hello! I'm the "shop teacher" Mr. Hopper. I am currently living the dream at Wisconsin Heights while teaching a variety of technical courses. I have some of the best students I have ever worked with in the shop. I live in Cross Plains with my son who also attends Wisconsin Heights. In my spare time I enjoy traveling the Midwest while fishing, camping and hiking the most beautiful places in the world.
My Classroom
We have several spaces in technical education. Our shop contains a metal fabrication and welding area, woodworking and construction, as well as an area for small engines. In addition, we have a computer lab and a fab lab clean room for 3D and resin printing, laser engraving, and thermoforming.
Teaching Style
I come from a background in the construction industry so my teaching style follows suit. We practice professionalism in our pursuit of a hands-on project-based learning environment. The same rules apply here at our shop that students will find in the field.
