About

Wisconsin Heights High School

Wisconsin Heights High School is a comprehensive high school that provides students with top-notch academics in a small, community atmosphere. Our small size provides several benefits over our larger neighboring high schools. We work with students on a more individualized basis to ensure that individual needs are met.

Students at Wisconsin Heights have numerous academic opportunities. We offer a wide variety of classes in:
Agriculture, Art, Business, Drama, English, Family and Consumer Science, Foreign Language (Spanish), Mathematics, Music (Instrumental/Vocal), Physical Education, Science, Social Studies, Technology Education, Work Experience, as well as offering Advanced Placement Classes.

Wisconsin Heights also offers an active co-curricular program. Students may choose from several activities:
Academic Bowl, Art Club, Chess Club, Drama (Musicals and Plays), FBLA, FFA, Forensics, Jazz Band, Math Meet, National Honor Society, Pep Band, Student Council, Baseball, Basketball, Cross Country, Football, Golf, Hockey, Track, Soccer, Softball, Swimming and Volleyball.

We belong to the Capitol Conference South and have a history of being competitive at the conference, regional, sectional, and state levels.

Wisconsin Heights students routinely score above the state average on state assessments and the ACT. Many of our classes stretch the boundaries of the classroom into the community and beyond. Our students gain educational experiences at Black Earth Creek, Devils Lake, at job sites, in mentor programs at the middle and elementary schools, and in surrounding communities. In addition, our students have several educational opportunities to travel both within and outside the United States.

Other special events and activities that foster academic and social growth include our annual Talent Show, Fun Day, Ropes Course, Geography Bee, an ongoing study of the Black Earth Creek, and annual class trips to Milwaukee and Chicago.
