Licensed Day Care Provider Opportunity

1. Introduction
Wisconsin Heights School District is seeking proposals from licensed day care providers to operate a high-quality child care program within our Elementary School. This opportunity includes the use of two classrooms at a reduced rental rate. The selected provider will be expected to deliver developmentally appropriate care and education for infants through school-aged children, aligning with the district’s values of community partnership and child development.
2. Available Space and Location
• Location: Wisconsin Heights Elementary School
• Available Rooms: Two (2) classrooms
• Size and Amenities: One room is equipped with an age-appropriate restroom, sinks, storage, and access to two outdoor play spaces
• Availability Start Date: August 18, 2025
3. Scope of Services
The selected provider will be responsible for:
• Offering full-day care for infants through school-aged children (before and after care optional)
• Maintaining all required child care licensing and insurance requirements
• Employing qualified staff in accordance with state licensing standards
• Coordinating with school leadership to ensure alignment with school operations and policies
• Ensuring proper security, cleanliness, and safety of the rented spaces
• Providing meals/snacks as required by regulation
4. Term and Rental Information
• Initial Term: 1 year with option for renewal based on performance
• Rental Rate: Reduced rate of $160 per classroom per month
• Utilities and Maintenance: Included
5. Proposal Requirements
Each proposal must include the following:
• Letter of Interest
• Provider background and history, including licensing information
• Description of proposed program including curriculum, daily schedule, and staff qualifications
• Staffing plan and child-to-staff ratios
• Proof of licensing and insurance
• References from at least three (3) current or past child care clients
• Financial capability statement
• Proposed rental terms or any requested modifications
6. Evaluation Criteria
Proposals will be evaluated on the following:
• Experience and qualifications of the provider
• Program design and curriculum
• Ability to serve a range of age groups (infants through school age)
• Licensing and regulatory compliance
• Affordability and financial sustainability
• Alignment with the district’s values and needs
• References and reputation

8. Additional Information
