7th grade students in Mrs. Schmitt's social studies class learned about how geographer's think spatially. In pairs, students had to describe a room in their house, but they were not allowed to look at the piece of paper that their partner was drawing on. The partner had to draw the map.
This activity allowed students to understand the relationship of location from one object to another, use effective communication, and visualize an image.
Great job, Vanguards!

🚍🎓 Big thanks to Ms. D from GORiteways for bringing a bus to our elementary school today! The students had a fantastic time exploring the bus and learning all about bus safety and expectations. 🚌✨ It’s so important for our kids to understand how to stay safe and feel comfortable on their ride to school. Thank you for making this hands-on experience possible! 🙌👏
