Mrs. Bednarcik's Anatomy Class was able to collect a grand total of 1,366 diapers and wipes! That is enough diapers and wipes to completely take care of a baby for over 100 days! Our winning class was the Junior Class with 675 diapers and wipes donated! Thank you for your contributions! #VanguardPride

Over the weekend, the Wisconsin Heights Chess Club competed in its first-ever tournament, the Sauk Prairie Classic. Lauren R., Catherine M., Devin D., and Andrew M. represented the club well, with everyone winning at least 50% of their games. Catherine won all but one game to earn 2nd place in her division. Andrew went undefeated for 1st place in his division, and Wisconsin Heights won first place overall as a team. Congratulations to the Vanguards! #VanguardPride

Mrs. Dempsey's 5th grade celebrated Pi Day (3.14) by writing a persuasive letter to Mrs. Dempsey's mom asking her to make pies! And she delivered!!! The students enjoyed an afternoon treat of chocolate, apple, and cherry pie! Thank you Kathy Whalen! #VanguardPride

Congratulations to our next Vanguard Spotlight Award recipient, Cassie Meinholz! Mrs. Meinholz was presented with her certificate and gift card at the March 10, 2025, Board of Education meeting. Mrs. Meinholz received her nomination from a student, Jolie L. Jolie stated that Mrs. Meinholz made math class so fun for her last year and helped her understand topics. Mrs. Meinholz created interactive and fun activities to practice math which helped students learn it so much easier. She helped students learn how to fix the mistakes. "Last year, at the beginning of the year I totally didn't understand anything, but then I asked her for help and she made it so easy to learn and I understood it so much easier after her guidance.
